From jvc 5351 speaker rare 70s japan.
With this woofer, the Japanese Victor Company (JVC) - known as "Victor" on the home market - paid homage to its progenitor (sort of) company, RCA Victor, and the top-tier (to this day) LC-1A coax driver and its kin.
The speaker system used when Victor conducted an experiment of switching between live performance and record playback. The replacement was successful and became famous.
A 40cm cone type unit is adopted as low-pass.
In this unit, a conical dome is placed on cone paper to control the area of piston movement of the woofer.
Moreover, the magnetic circuit which piles up many small magnets and operates like a magnetic circuit of an external magnet type is adopted as a magnetic circuit.
