The FEU-39A photoelectronic multiplier with eleven amplification stages and electrostatic focusing is designed for use in photometric instruments in the 160-600 nm spectral range in general-purpose instruments, as well as in Cherenkov counters.
Designed to convert optical radiation into an electrical signal with subsequent amplification in photometric and spectral instruments, general-purpose and special-purpose equipment.
The photocathode is antimony-caesium, spectral characteristic No. 12.
The optical input is end-facing.
The diameter of the photocathode working area is 34 mm.
The number of amplification cascades is 11.
The design is glass, with a base (РШ32).
The FEU-39A photomultiplier can be operated at ambient temperatures from -60 to +50 °C.
